4TH LINERS

Generally, the fourth line is the last line of defense for the team, either preventing opposing forwards from scoring or providing some offense of their own. Even if a team doesn’t have a traditional forward trio, the fourth line might still be used as a place for a struggling winger or a free agent pickup to find some solid playing time.
